[imp] Login very very slow using the new IMP

yes - uw-imap - but before updating today everything works fine - using 
an IA64, we have a lot of cpu power ;-)

But I don't want IMP to "index" all may ~<user>/public_html , #ftp and 
#news ... where can I change that?
