I have discovered that
embedding numbers in words is not picked up by the spell checker. IN
fact it makes the word completely exempt from validation.
Is this behavior by design ?
I am using aspell
Horde/IMP/Framework snapshot 7/13

Example -

N3ow is the ti56me for all good men to come to the aid of the cownt7y
