Subject: [imp] imp hanging when deleteing

I'm using imp version 1.53 and horde 1.74 with courier imap 1.37.

I have user account on my system that hangs up the impad daemon when using
imp. His account is the only one that does this.

Basically when he tries to perform any action (view email, delete email, ect
.) imp hangs for a few seconds then it spawns a impad process under his
username that keeps running and will not die off.

Output of top:

PID USERNAME THR PRI NICE SIZE RES STATE TIME WCPU
COMMAND

68095 jdoe 1 131 0 2596K 1256K RUN 3:24
97.76% imapd

For example he tries and deletes an email; it spawns a process like shown
above then he tries and composes an email that spawns another process. After
about four of these processes have been spawned imapd will not log anyone
in.

The imap logs do not show any errors however these type of errors appear in
my apache logs.

I've read that this may be caused by php but that doesn't make much sense to
me being that it's limited to a single user.
