[imp] attachment upload timing out on older versions of IE

horde 3.1.2, imp 4.1.2

We're getting reports from users of what appears to be time outs on  
uploading attachments.  They claim they select their file but when  
they click update to suck it up to the server all they get is a blank  
white page with "done" in the status bar.  This seems to be happening  
only with IE on older Windows boxes (98 & NT so far...).  Has anyone  
else encountered this and if so what it the remedy?
