However, there are other things you could do; like modify the source to 
suit your needs.  It can't be that difficult to find where in the 
source the folder is formatted and do something different.  If you make 
it configurable then perhaps a patch to the source would be accepted 
into the HEAD version.  The nice thing about Open Source Software is 
that you don't have to live with what is; _you_ can change it.  I feel 
that this fact is the reason for Jan's response; but that is only a 
guess.
