There have been many improvements in HEAD to the caching codes, along  
with various other bugs squashed while our message caching/retrieval  
system in IMP was pretty much rewritten, so it is possible those  
changes won't work in 4.1.x.  But as far as I can tell, the changes  
work fine in HEAD - at least I haven't seen a problem at all.
