[imp] DIMP's application tabs

Is it possible (short of changing the templates) to prevent DIMP from 
creating tabs for the various horde apps that are mentioned in IMP's 
config/conf.php $conf['menu']['apps'] setting?  I feel like the tabs 
clutter the mailbox index portion of that frame unnecessarily, but like 
having the "Filters" and "Address Book" entries in the folder tree 
portion on the left.
