[imp] how to update database from very old version

Hello,
I installed the New Hordware Groupware WEbmail edition but I need
to migrate all the user pereference (And user filters) to the new imp.
How can I update the Horde/imp mySql db from horde 3.0 to horde webmail 
1.0.3 ?
Is there any srict to do this job ?
it is a big pain in hte neck having the new horde installed with all the 
user preferences
lost.
