[imp] applications "sensing" if they're called from DIMP?

Technically, there is.  $_SESSION['imp']['viewmode'] is set to  
imp/dimp/mimp depending on the last page loaded.  However, it is not  
really meant for use outside of IMP/DIMP/MIMP so any solution using  
that variable needs to be done locally.
