[imp] Names with periods

Hello,

many mail clients allow the user to set his fullname to whatever he/she likes.
We are getting mails from remote users (so no chance for educational measures)
having set their fullname set to firstname.lastname. In the message source
you can see firstname.lastname in double quotes. But imp displays it without
quotes. As soon as you try to reply, you get a 'validitation failed' error.

Wouldn't it be possible to keep the quotes and take the part in angle brackets
only as address ?
