[imp] Slow show message when the mail is big

Hello,

My web server and mail server are setup at the same machine.  They are connected locally.  So, the connection speed should be fast enough.

Can anyone help me?  It is slow even 500k text/html e-mail (arround 1 mins to load).  For 4MB size, I just checked and confirmed that it took 8mins. (not 4mins.) to display.



Can you test your network connectivity?

your routes: netstat -r
have you an ipv6 network?. That can leads to something working very slowly if you have AAAA RR and no IPV6 routes...
Put a file on your server and try to download it.
