[imp] autocomplete minChars ac_threshold not working

Hello,

I would like to understand why ac_threshold is not mananging minChars in
autocomplete.js
In my setup, the first char I hit on the keyboard is generating an ldap
search.
ac_threshold=3 for me

As there is an option:
When autocompleting addresses in the compose screen, this is the minimum
number of characters required before the search is performed on the server

looks like a bug?
