I am viewing a text/plain email in the popup window (not the preview
panel). It just won't highlight. I have tried it on the latest versions of
Chrome, Firefox and IE (under Windows and Linux) and they all behave the
same, and I have also tried it on the two different installs that I have of
Horde and it is the same on both. If I press CTRL-A (select all) then the
page does highlight (although it then impossible to un-highlight the text
with the mouse).

fine if I view email in the preview panel (as opposed to the pop up window).

causing it, or an HTML div that was overlayed over the text area of the
window, but I tried removing bits and pieces (using the developer tools)
and disabling Javascript, and I got it down to next to nothing and it still
wouldn't work.

that can disable text selection, and I did find it in the default
screen.css file, but I deleted all the styles when I stripped down the html
and it didn't seem to be causing it.

This was discussed recently in the list. Sadly Google is now so good the
only post I can find is yours.
