The problem with this approach is that simply clicking "new" will
always be much faster than choosing a previous template in a specific
folder, not to mention the hassle of creating the template(s) in the
first place. Also, if we are meant to work with template as a
workaround for signatures, there wouldn't be much of a purpose to the
signature field in identity section.
