[imp] tho Words "Check Spelling" are missing if i create new Message

Almost certainly a javascript error is occurring during the  
initialization.  Once this occurs, all initialization tasks after it  
will not be performed (the "Check Spelling" text is dynamically  
inserted into the page by JS).
