Pretty much.  Or unsubscribe to mailboxes you don't use often.

And check to make sure you do not have "nav_poll_all" active.  Nobody  
should polling all mailboxes.  Ever.  It makes zero sense from a  
usability perspective, and it will absolutely kill your server.
