As you said, you are forwarding body text only.

There's no such thing as forwarding with attachments.  Forwarding  
means to send the ENTIRE message via message/rfc822.  "Forwarding body  
text only" breaks this paradigm by allowing a more reply-like behavior  
to body text, but it is not true forwarding.
