[imp] R: download doc file with pop server

If you have an IMAP server available, why on earth do you want to use  
POP instead? That just doesn't make sense.

IMAP is strongly recommended over POP3.

    "If using a POP server, it MUST support the UIDL capability. POP3  
support is limited to performing
     only basic mail actions; Caching, on-demand filtering, searching,  
and sorting will be disabled."
