"sendmail" is just an interface, like SMTP, that Horde can use.
Postfix provides this interface, or rather wrapper too. But this
doesn't have anything to do with your problem anyway.

You cannot send mail using IMAP, because this is just a protocol for
receiving messages. For sending, see above.

The SSL port for HTTP would be 443, by default. But this is not
required anyway, you can run Horde on plain HTTP just fine.

Horde Webmail is configured by default to connect to an IMAP server on
localhost on port 143. You either have the IMAP server running on a
different host, or on a different port.
