[imp] activesync broken

I found this error in /var/log/messages:

httpd: PHP Parse error:  syntax error, unexpected '[' in  
/usr/share/pear/Horde/ActiveSync/Imap/Adapter.php on line 110

there was a [0] at the end of the line and I deleted it and it works! ? weird
