Correct. You must support SSH v1 for jeta to work.

Probably, but there are no plans for change at this time. It uses a
third party ssh java applet. So it is really up to the third party
to produce a better applet, and then for us to implement it into jeta.
The advantage of jeta as it stands is that it is very small, and hence
is quick to download and fast to run. Adding additional features or
support would likely make it larger and/or slower. But at some point,
I'm sure someone will create a small, fast efficient ssh v2 applet, and
I'm sure at some point it jeta will migrate to such an applet.
