Nope. Im going over everything on this box with a fine tooth comb now removing
traces of this or that.. Im compiling php after modifying mcal.h's version stamp
so i can ensure im using the right tree, and its not finding files elsewhere,
however when i try to compile php now, it spits out some errors at the end, and in
my debug.log, it says

gcc -o conftest -g -O2 -DSUPPORT_UTF8 -Wl,-rpath,/tmp/imap-2001.BETA.SNAP-0107
112053//c-client -L/tmp/imap-2001.BETA.SNAP-0107112053//c-client -Wl,-rpath,/tmp
/libmcal -L/tmp/libmcal conftest.c -lmcal -lpam -lcrypt -lresolv -lm -ldl -lnsl
 -lresolv 1>&5
/tmp/libmcal/libmcal.so: undefined reference to `cc_login'
/tmp/libmcal/libmcal.so: undefined reference to `cc_searched'
/tmp/libmcal/libmcal.so: undefined reference to `cc_vlog'
/tmp/libmcal/libmcal.so: undefined reference to `cc_vdlog'

Where are the undefined references coming from here?
