Of course there are. Patches welcome. :)

Subject: shared calendars via ldap users

Hello,

Project looks great. I finally got it to work. I read in the docs how shared
calendar's are going to be supported. I am wondering if this is going to have
some sort of tie into ldap lookups like the address books ?

Thank you,

I can't quite envision how this would be similar to ldap address books - can
you explain what you mean?

Well, I think the userbase is most easily obtained from an ldap server which
can be synonymous with your global addressbook. In my case, I have all my
company people in an ldap server which I do all kinds of things like global
authentication and company wide address book lookups. This would be the best
place to find users to share calendars with.

Am I way off base here?

Kronolith relies on Horde's authentication. You may use any authentication for
Horde that is supported. That's the case for ldap.
What you probably mean is group support with groups (to share information with,
here: calendars) stored in ldap, right?

There actually no support for groups in kronolith yet, but already a horde
framework for groups. Take a look at horde/lib/Group.php. There's currently a
sql driver in lib/Category but perhaps you want to write a ldap driver? ;-)

Well, I am probably confused...haha
Is there any documentation on what the group stuff means?

Perhaps reading the Group.php will be a good start eh?
The only calendaring I have any experience with unfortunately is Outlook. That
is what I am looking to provide with horde/krono. Ability to "invite" others
to "events", have an email sent to them with the event information, etc. In my
case, this user information is stored in an ldap server which is the same as
one of my addressbooks. That is my picture.

I am going to go read that file and see what's going on there.
