[kronolith] issue changing event start and end dates

Thanks for the fix.

When I switch to 24 hour date format I don't get the other bug ("end date
later than start date") which again makes me think that a date variable
isn't getting correctly updated when the form's hour or am/pm setting is
changed.

This should be fixed in cvs now. I'll take a look at the other bug later.
