[kronolith] issue changing event start and end dates

Thanks Jan.

All of the AM times work correctly and all of the PM times do as well except
for a starting time of 12pm (noon). To see this, create a new event and
change the times to 12pm - 3pm. You should get the popup error.

1pm-3pm works fine
12am-3am works fine
