[kronolith] Fatal error: Call to undefined function: quote()

I have installed the latest PEAR from php 4 cvs.  

Here is the cvs version it gives out by default.   Is this the correct
version ?
Repository revision: 1.73    /repository/php4/pear/DB.php,v

I did a make; make install inside the pear dir.

You need a newer version of PEAR.  Grab it from PHP cvs.
