[kronolith] Fail to authenticate IMAP session.

just a few thoughts, sorry if they are fairly noddy.

I've had problems with authentication when we were using PHP 4.2.0. seems ok
now that I dropped back to 4.1.0RC2. I've also had problems getting the HORDE
log to work with the 'file' setting.

It seems to work when using the syslog option (don't forget to change
syslog.conf). This should produce errors and warnings the way you expect.

I don't know if it is MCAL related since we use SQL. I presume you have the
MCAL user setup ok?

hope this helps..

Ahmed...
