[kronolith] Fatal erro

Hello all.  I just installed Kronolith and after getting a couple of
files (Notification*) it seemed to work.  Problem is I am getting a
fatal error after I have entered an event.  Here is the error below that
appears in todays date in the month view.

Fatal error: call to undefined function. getcharset() in
/var/www/html/horde/kronolith/month.php on line 157

Does any one know what file I'm missing?
