Quoting Mike Cochrane <mike@graftonhall.co.nz>:

Understood.

> Previously Kronolith didn't use any of these classes and so didn't need the
> categories driver setup.

Hmm... Okay. But doesn't the horde/config/conf.php file stating

// What backend should we use for Horde Categories? Valid options are
// currently 'none' and 'sql'. In the case of 'none', the categories
// only live for the duration of a single request - they are NOT
// stored in the user's session.
$conf['category']['driver'] = 'none';

kind of imply that it will work with "none" but just not save/retain
any categories? I think the wording is at best ambiguous, if not
misleading...

"TAD (Technology Attachment Disorder) is an unshakable, impractical devotion
to a brand, platform, product line, or programming language. It's relatively
harmless among the rank and file, but when management is afflicted the damage
can be measured in dollars. It's also contagious -- someone with sufficient
political clout can infect an entire organization."
