[kronolith] undefined function: ctype_upper()

I downloaded the CVS version of horde and kronolith yesterday evening and 
overall the calendar works but if I click to add an event I get teh 
following error message.

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: ctype_upper() in 
/vafishfreek/horde/lib/Horde.php on line 1083
I did a search in the archive but I dont think the current messages are up 
there as everything looked like it had a 2001 year.
