Hi guys,
I'm writting an app to schedule meetings between various people using their
freebusy info.
I'm just after a bit of feedback about a few things:
Should I follow the lead of Outlook and add another field to Turba for storing a
users freebusy URL?
Or would an abstacted search system suit people better? This could search, admin
configurable, sources of vFreebusy information such as local or remote locations
(file://, ftp://, http://) or freebusy server like freebusy.office.microsoft.com
to locate the freebusy info for an email address.
Should vFreebusy replys (you send a request and they replay with a private
freebusy info for you only) be stored in the turba contact for the sender, or
stored in the personal preferences of app?
What applications should this be compatible with?
My main priority is correctly using the vFreebusy information exported by
Kronolith, Ximian and Outlook. Are their any others that export this info?
The app will be able to send out vInvites to everyone, and send vFreebusy
requests. These requests are only supported by Ximian to my knowledge. The
IMP text/calendar viewer will need to be modified to handle vFreebusy
requests and replys.
Also will be adle to add the event to Kronolith or send a vEvent to anyone.
To see where it's at:
To get an idea of the UI, have a look at

It's my development system so it may or may not be working.
UI suggestions are welcome, as are any feature thoughts / requests / comments.
And the all important thing, what to call this app :-) Anyone got an Ikea or
similarly weird and appropriate name?
- Mike :-)
