The problem with making something idiot proof is that a bigger idiot
always seems to come along.

This is the kronolith list and doesn't relate to IMP per se

but...

Removing IMP should have nothing to do with losing mail...the email
would typically stay on the imap server and IMP/Horde/etc would be
located within the html tree so why would removing IMP/Horde/Kronolith
or any of the related CVS trees remove any email?
