[kronolith] pear log error - please help.

Folks:

OK - I answered my own question.

Here's the answer:

Now though, how do I install it?  - you might ask?I
downloaded the packages, and it says I need to install
them in the PEAR directory.  I am using RedHat 9 - and
like the error message said earlier - its looking for
Log.php in /usr/share/pear.  Download both the
Log-1.6.7 and Mail_Mime-1.2.1 (latest as of this
writing) and throw them in a temporary or
backup/utility directory .

Then: Uncompress them by issuing the following
command:

tar -zxvf Log-1.6.7
tar -zxvf Mail_Mime-1.2.1 

Then: go into each of the directories made -

cd Log-1.6.7
cd Mail_Mime-1.2.1 

Then: copy the entire contents of each directory to
the /usr/share/pear directory:

cp -r * /usr/share/pear 

(do this in both Log-1.6.7
and Mail_Mime-1.2.1)
