Hello All,
I have recently installed and configured the cvs release of the horde
framework, using horde, imp, turba, kronolith, and moments. My manager and
director like the "new look and feel" as well as the ability to schedule
meetings with one another.
All that aside, I am planning to do an upgrade and I am not sure if the
transition to our "live" server will be smooth. We use postgresql as our
backend and run Tru64 Unix which has been working perfectly with the cvs
release. Currently, our students and faculty have customized their address
books and I am afraid that by upgrading, all users might possibly loose all
their contacts.
I was planning on creating completely new tables using the scripts provided in
the scripts/drivers folder but I can't risk losing any data. Besides the data
for turba, is there any other crucial data that I might be forgetting? Also,
can anybody recommend a reliable way to export and import pgsql data.
Thanks in advance,
Kevin Appel
