I checked the database backend (postgre) in horde and its the default "
iso-8859-1"
If i change it ,all nordic signs dissapear so it must be right !
I used PG admin to open up the raw database and the letters are correct
there with æøå
ok now i tried looking the html source for a kronolith event and found the
following:
the location field show correctly the æøå html source looks like this
<tr class="item0">
<td align="right"><b>Location </b></td>
<td align="left">Ã|Ã?Ã¥Ã|Ã?Ã¥Ã|Ã?Ã¥ </td> <------- this is whats shows
as ÆØÅ correctly
</tr>
This is the Description field which shows incorrectly in browser but in
source show correctly
<tr>
<td align="left" colspan="2" class="header"><span
class="smallheader"><b>Description</b></span></td>
</tr>
<tr class="item0">
<td colspan="2" align="left">æøåæøåæøå</td> <--------- this is
whats shows as ÆØÅ incorrectly
</tr>
im a bit lost now... probably cause i dont understand why it convert the
signs
Hope this helps a bit in understanding my problem !

Make sure that the charset that you chose for your storage backend is
correct and compatible to the characters you use.
