Does anything in the prefs file need to be changed?  It does not work for
me.

in theory - any calendar that you have the ability to access - whether
it is one of your own or someone else's on the system, you should see it
listed in the pull down menu. It seems to work for me. If it doesn't
work for you, then either you don't have the permissions that you think
you have or you have a problem. Perhaps it is similar to problem of
reporting new mail in folders that doesn't work until you log off and
log back on again...
