[kronolith] UID of itip invitation and the event created are the same. Is this correct?

When I receive a mail with a Itip invitation and create the event in my personal calendar by means of the Itip MIME viewer, the UID of the event created is the same of the event parent(itip content).
Is this correct?? 
I can not see the new event created with 'viewevent.php'.
