Hi,

 Apparently attendees aren't imported for events due to the possibility of it sending spurious iTip notifications from users who aren't the organizer. What are the reasons against importing attendees and then just checking that the current user is the organiser before sending notifications? Besides the slim chance that the organiser changes their email address partway through the organisation process.
