[kronolith] Reminders being sent even after the event starts

Hi all,
  I have recently installed and configured kronolith(2.1.2) stable
version in my Horde(3.2cvs) suite. Everything works fine, except that
the reminders are being sent repeatedly even after the event time
starts. I will explain with the help of an example.

  I have created an event at 6:30AM and asked kronolith remind me
before 5 minutes of the event. As usual it send me the reminder at
6:25AM . Then it again sent another reminder at 6:30AM and then at
every 5 minutes it was sending me the reminders. I keep receving the
mail.

Is it a known bug or I have to take care of some other configuration
parameters ? Please help me.
