I did the same as Andy, cleared the calendar and /tmp/sync and synched a
single item from server to client.

That was done just a few minutes ago - I cleared the calendar and all
the logs, added one entry with the recurrance, did the sync and then
sent the results.
Any more tests I can do to help ?
