I have it on my todo list to re-work the whole calendar list, as it's  
rather awkward. I'll try and make sure to keep this in mind.

This one I'm not sure of. The admin interface is, in my somewhat naive  
opinion, less critical, as you can write the config file by hand just  
fine as well if you prefer/need to....
