[kronolith] Problem with Kronolith Alarms in in 2.2 RC2

I'm using the latest releases of Horde, and I'm having a bit of
trouble.  At one point I had set my Kronolith options to give me popup
notifications.
Unfortunately this basically gives me popups for every event that has an
alarm into the distant future whenever I hit refresh in the browser.
I changed notifications back to email, but I still get the popups.
Are there any debugs I can set?
I'm using Apache 2.2.4 PHP 5.2.5.
