[kronolith] Translation and display of holidays

Hi,

i'm using Kronolith H3 (2.2-RC2) and noticed the new support of 
holidays. PEAR's DATE_Holidays is installed and in the portal view of 
the month and in the year view of kronolith the holiday shows up in the 
tooltip in english.

Login language for horde is german, so how can i get the translated
  version of the holidays?

Are the tooltips of the portal month view an the year view the only 
places where they show up? Not obvious for the user. Is there a way to 
show up holidays in day / week / workweek or is this still work in 
progress? Preferably a line under the date of the day like:

Wednesday, 24.
(Christmas Eve)

would be nice.

Even better would be highlighting of the day in week / workweek view 
like the actual day but with a different color.
What can be done right now, should i file RFEs?
