[kronolith] Questions on Kronolith 2.2

Having issues with Kronolith and the calendar alarms.

I do have a cronjob that calls horde/scripts/alarms.php. If
notifications are set to popup, then the popup never stops. Every
refresh, every selection, etc. How do you get the popup to go away?

When I do get a reminder (alarm) the email is always from the user to
the user and not from the user that I have set in kronolith/conf.php

$conf['reminder']['server_name'] = 'email';
$conf['reminder']['from_addr'] = 'reminders at mydomain.com';

Is the above not used with the alarms.php script and there for legacy
usage with the reminders.php script?

Neither is it also from the valid user I have identified in
$conf['auth']['admins'] = array('admin at mdomain.com');

Sometimes I get an alarm and other times I don't. I can't figure out
what could I be missing.

In calendar options, notifications, if I set an email address, is the
alarm supposed to be sent to both the local user and the email address
entered? Sorry if that is a dumb question, but I am not currently
getting any consistent behavior with alarms.

Lastly, I get some error messages sent to admin about the alarms.php
that is running every 5 minutes via cron. I'll have the messages in
the inbox, then all of a suddent they will stop appearing without me
having done anything. The message is:
A fatal error has occurred
Required "phptype" not specified in horde configuration. The file
/home/httpd/html/horde/config/../config/conf.php should contain a
$conf['sql']['params']['phptype'] setting.

I have this line in horde/config/conf.php
$conf['sql']['phptype'] = 'mysql';

I have regenerated all of the config files and none of them produce
the output in the format the error message is stating. Searching
bugs.horde.org for phptype shows four duplicate bugs to resolved bug
3501. which shows correct 2/17/06.

Thanks once again,

John Bennett
