[kronolith] Issue with Kronolith Calendar Application

Hi,

 

We have been using Kronolith Calendar Application deployed as part of
Horde Groupware Webmail Edition 1.2 with MS SQL 2005 as Database server
& PHP talks to it via FreeTDS.

Many times clients complain getting following message on the UI:

"The preferences backend is currently unavailable and your preferences
have not been loaded. You may continue to use the system with default
settings"

And create event icon will not be available to client.

 

At this time we can see error in the horde logs as below:

What could be the reason for above behavior? Is there any issue using
FreeTDS with PHP in Horde?
