I think I had tried that already in my first frustrating week of experimenting.
So I try it again. Here is the result:
84.112.145.204 - frim [30/Mar/2009:23:24:01 +0200] "GET
/horde/rpc.php/kronolith/frim/frim.ics HTTP/1.1" 200 2249 "-" "Mozilla/5.0
(Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X; de; rv:1.8.1.21) Gecko/20090302 Lightning/0.9
Thunderbird/2.0.0.21"
84.112.145.204 - frim [30/Mar/2009:23:25:05 +0200] "GET
/horde/rpc.php/kronolith/frim/frim.ics HTTP/1.1" 200 2249 "-" "Mozilla/5.0
(Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X; de; rv:1.8.1.21) Gecko/20090302 Lightning/0.9
Thunderbird/2.0.0.21"
84.112.145.204 - - [30/Mar/2009:23:25:06 +0200] "PUT
/horde/rpc.php/kronolith/frim/frim.ics HTTP/1.1" 403 688 "-" "Mozilla/5.0
(Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X; de; rv:1.8.1.21) Gecko/20090302 Lightning/0.9
Thunderbird/2.0.0.21"
84.112.145.204 - frim [30/Mar/2009:23:25:07 +0200] "PROPFIND
/horde/rpc.php/kronolith/frim/frim.ics HTTP/1.1" 207 271 "-" "Mozilla/5.0
(Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X; de; rv:1.8.1.21) Gecko/20090302 Lightning/0.9
Thunderbird/2.0.0.21"

It doesn't work either.

I think, I mentioned already that the problem is the 403. The application should
answer with 401, which prompts the client to supply credentials. 403 is a fatal
error code. But I don't know why it returns 403 in lieu the 401.

regards,
Marcus
