I use horde from OpenSUSE 10.3 repository
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/server:/php:/applications/openSUSE_10.3/

there was a small error in   /horde/kronolith/lib/Recurrence.php

like this:   PHP Fatal error:  Class 'Kolab_Date' not found in  
/srv/www/htdocs/horde/kronolith/lib/Recurrence.php on line 1161

I fixed this by replacing "Kolab_Date" with   "Horde_Kolab_Format_Date"

PS: most likely it is this packages only error.
