[kronolith] replacing a recurring event and save it as current event. --> API

Hi

I use the api method function _kronolith_replace($uid, $content, 
$contentType) .
This way I let attendee subscribe to specific event.

Some events are recurring, and this leads to a problem.
The attendee likes to subscribe to single event and not to all recurring 
events.

Is it possible to save/replace a recurring event to a current one 
through the api?
Kronolith itself let the editor chose the way he likes to save the 
recurring event.
--> current, future, all, "save as new".

The Question is:  How can i save a recurring event as a single event 
withe the kronolith api?
