[kronolith] Matching letters with or without diacritics when adding attendee to event

I wrote about my problem here http://bugs.horde.org/ticket/10952 where 
it was rejected and I was told that I should use mailing list for support.

Best solution for me would be if kronolith would try to autocomplete by 
checking email addresses and not names as imp does but also if it 
wouldn't care about diacritics in names would be enough.
I use postgresql 8.4.
