[kronolith] Turba display names / sort names format messes up Kronolith invitations

I changed the Turba pref "Select the format to display names:" to 
"Lastname, Firstname".  Now when I invite John Smith with email 
john at mycompany.org it gets sent to a smith at mycompany.org and is 
undeliverable.  I gather this is a bug?   If I change the Turba pref 
back to no format it corrects the problem with invitees.  Would you like 
this as a bug request and if so under Turba or Kronolith?
